Nan An Primary School/南安小學

Island School raised a sum of money in the Spring Term of 2001 for buying PE equipment and a new computer for Nan An. We donated the equipment to the school during our April visit in the same year.

After our visit in 2002, we donated a music room with 50 keyboards. The school also has a new computer room by courtesy of a HK Christian organization. In November 2003, we bought some library books for the school. In 2005, we bought some exercise books, stationery and PE equipment. In December 2009 we funded the school to strengthen its fence on the balcony.

In December 2014 we sponsored the school to install facilities to pump underground water for flushing the student toilets. This saves the water bill by 70%. The Little Angel scholarship was set up at the same time to reward students who do well in examinations.

In June 2016, the Baiwan Charity sponsored the school to install new windows in the teachers’ dormitory.

In December 2017 we sponsored the school to construct the refuse collection site.

In November and December 2019, the Baiwan Charity donated a new computer and a photocopier respectively to the school for administration.
